Sometimes a little support from a stranger can make the weights we’re carrying seem a bit less heavy. Welcome to “Dear Stranger”, The First Date’s anonymous letter column!
Responses to letters sent to the publication appear here. Answers are generally posted a week after letter submission on either Wednesday or Thursday.
To keep things in order letters are answered in the order they are received so please be patient if you’ve submitted. I read every letter even if the response hasn’t been posted yet, and all readers who took the time to submit will receive a response.
If you don’t see your answer posted the next Wednesday come back to the page on Thursday or check again the week after!
